This game seems to have a lot of potential, not only because of the animations but also because of the story and the characters... But so much animation in scenes where they are unnecessary will make it unplayable on android in future updates, it's barely version 0.1.1 and already It is 1.5gb, I would highly recommend that you focus the animations on scenes that are only necessary, they look great and help in the immersion but they are of little use if they freeze or make the game impossible to install, a complete game at most it should be 2gb or 2.5gb for android, that's why many Devs divide their games into parts although I wouldn't recommend doing that much either, I know I'm asking you for something very difficult seeing how ambitious this game is but I think you should focus more on making a good story that is much more immersive than animations everywhere

If animations freeze, reducing the number of animations will not solve the issue. You'll just have fewer animations that still keep freezing. Unless you reduce compression or get a better phone, nothing will change.
Frankly, not every phone is suitable as a gaming device. If you decide to save money (or research) and get a potato, you'll have to expect and accept that some games just won't run smoothly. The same goes for PC, by the way: A netbook for example will struggle with most games and compressed video. Make sure to research benchmarks for your next phone, as there are relatively powerful and affordable devices for those who can find them.
The solution I'd suggest on the developer's side is an alternative low-res version with low compression for low-end devices - but that means you're not getting the high-quality animations those with decent phones and computers get.
However, before pestering for alternative versions, have you tried running the PC version under JoiPlay? With JoiPlay, you can play Ren'Py games regardless of size, because the app does not need to contain all the game files like a standalone APK does. PC versions usually have lower compression, which means smoother video playback.
Naturally, PC versions are big. Collecting games with over 10GB will quickly fill up most phones. So if you're running out of space, you can just get a nice terabite-sized external SSD that works with android to keep all your oversized PC versions and APKs. And movies. And Books. And everything.

Also, the laggy animations not only happen to me, but to the vast majority of those who play... What good are high-quality animations if almost all your players can't enjoy them?
I think you are overestimating your demographic relevance. There are many players, particularly when it comes to AVNs, who do download the PC version and run it with JoiPlay, or just use their PC. I have a mid-range phone and run this without any issues, both the compressed and regular version. Also, if you really think 3GB is a lot, you're falling behind the times.
And no, your phone is not "decent enough to run any game" otherwise you'd not be here complaining. Most mobile games are made low-spec enough to run on any potato device, and that works because most aren't meant to be pretty in the first place, only addictive. Others are limited to literal slideshows with some animation where it is most important. Your phone has only been keeping up because everyone else has slowed down for you.
Again, your phone is not "decent enough to run any game", even if it's otherwise powerful. Most phones are optimized for communication and utility, and not made for gaming. Some have all their power in the CPU and neglect the GPU, while others are skimping on RAM, and yet others have abysmal I/O speeds on their storage. You have to do your research to get a phone that actually "runs any game", and you clearly didn't.
You're not a heroic defender of the "vast majority", you're that guy with a potato trying to downgrade the game for everyone because you couldn't be bothered to get a phone with an actual GPU. Do your research next time.
This sounds a lot like compression is the reason animations freeze in the first place.
A possible solution would be to make the APK at a lower resolution rather than compressing it too much, and recommend the PC version with JoiPlay. Which might need a bit of decompression too if PC users also have issues.
On the other hand, maybe this is just a few potato users getting potato performance. I'll download the compressed version too, and see how it runs.
Edit: Playing up to the "find me" scene so far, I've had zero issues running the compressed version on a Moto G100. Now, that's not a weak phone, but it's no high-end device either. I think it really is just potato devices performing poorly.
I encourage you to go to F95zone, there's so much more people talking about and curious about the game than in here. Many have been curious on so many things in there. It would be nice for you to answer them.
I just finished the game and it's not just like a static scene it shocked me because in some scenes they move and that's new for me I played a lot of H games and this one is kinda unique and I hope the story will be great in the next update.
last time i checked, it was 2gb if you use butler and you can request a limit increase. but for that you have to show that you made an effort do decrease size. There are lots of vn that have a ton of png with 2MB that could have been 200kB jpg without any visible reduction in quality. png is "compressed" in name only. It is good for pixel art, where pixels are important. But the images you have, are best delivered to the player in a format you would use for real life photos.
This game is definitely among the best of the best AVNs. I did not expected this game to be so mind-blowing when I read the comments. If there is a hall of fame for AVN, I can not see why this game is not there.

I saw people were comparing this to the games Caribdis makes and that caught my interest so I decided to give it a shot.
It exceeded all expectations. Holy hell I was blown away. I was not expecting that level of quality. The animations were phenomenal, a lot of the movements looked so real, of course there were some moments where it looked just a tiny bit off, but those were outshined by the rest. And you animate so many minor movements that many would just brush over and it really is just amazing.
I'm loving the characters with just the small amount we were given, honestly far surpasses the work of many of the games I've played.
And oh boy the H-scenes. It's not often that the first version of a game can bring me to release, but this one provided and then some.
Overall really hyped about this game and wish I had more money just so I could give it to you and I highly recommend others to check it out.

Amazing is not enough to describe how good the game looks. It has a lot of potential. Intriguing story right off the bat. The animations are incredible. They are smooth and still very beautiful whilst not frying my phone (I use phone for "privacy" reasons. Please don't judge.) The characters that are included in the current version look beautiful too. Like I said before, this game has a lot of potential. I hope that it doesn't get fucked up with something like r-word or something of the sort.
Currently, I can't say anything bad about the game, accept a few bugs that don't really affect the quality of the gameplay. I am genuinely existed to see how the story develops. For the first time I am this tempted to donate to a game or subscribe to its Patreon. I would 100% do it if I had the money, but sadly, I can't afford it at the moment.
For now I give it 9/10 because I know that someday, when it gets finished, it will be a full 10/10. Genuinely amazing. I am excited for the future of this game.
This is a lot better than I was expecting for an initial release! The visual quality is amazing and the story is interesting right out of the gate! I really like how clean the UI is but what I really wasn't expecting was the amount of animations and just how smooth they were, I don't think I've seen many games that had much of any!
It would be nice to have the Quick Save/Quick Load buttons on the menu though. You can manually save in the Quick Save slots but that kind of defeats the purpose of it being "Quick" lol.
The only bugs I've noticed is that the Sound Volume slider doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to or the phone ringing sound doesn't seem to care where the slider is at when the MC is woken up in his nightmare.
When on the phone with May she says "Doт't worry, they're just vitamins" instead of "Don't worry, they're just vitamins"
Ken's portrait seems to stick around even after he's done talking and no longer around the player. For example, while MC was at home with May it was still on screen and for a split second when switching between the portraits of MC and May you'd see Ken. Then when the MC went upstairs while May was in the shower it was fully visible.
Other than that I think this is a promising title and I'm very much looking forward to future releases!

Regarding the bugs you mentioned, such as the Sound Volume slider and Ken's portrait appearing in certain situations, I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I will investigate these issues and work on resolving them.
Only downside is the manga style of the faces stands out like a sore thumb because the rest is reality smooth. I mean compared to another VN the faces look good, but compared to the backgrounds, the moving car, bodies and so on present in that very game, they don't look so good anymore.
Other potential downside, this looks like a ton of work, i don't expect the story to progress fast.

Only downside is the manga style of the faces stands out like a sore thumb because the rest is reality smooth. I mean compared to another VN the faces look good, but compared to the backgrounds, the moving car, bodies and so on present in that very game, they don't look so good anymore.
Other potential downside, this looks like a ton of work, i don't expect the story to progress fast.
